Springboks star Faf de Klerk was denied a moment of brilliance for Sales Sharks on Friday night during a Premiership clash against Bath at the AJ Bell Stadium.

The World Cup-winner produced a lovely reverse pass to number eight Daniel du Preez who charged through a gap to score under the posts, however after a TMO referral the assist from de Klerk was deemed to have gone forward.
Sale did eventually score a try at the death but if this pass from the South African scrum half had gone backwards the result could have been much different.
