Reigning Challenge Cup champions turned Champions Cup contenders Lyon faced off against heavyweights Saracens in a ding-dong battle today.
Unfortunately for the Top14 side they came up just short as they fell to Premiership side 28 – 20.
Despite the loss, Lyon were not too far off the pace of a side that many consider to be genuine contenders for the title.
In a clash that had a number of interesting moments, none were better than giant prop Hamza Kaabeche found himself out on the wing.
With nobody in front of him and less that 20m to get to the line, it appeared to be clear sailing for Kaabeche.
In a brief reminder of why the light fast guys play out wide, Kaabeche was so very nearly chased down by the oncoming Saracens defenders.
As he got within one meter of the line, it appeared as though the prop felt more at ease as he barged through the tackle of the Saracens defender!
You love to see it 😍
