All Blacks legend Ma’a Nonu showed once again why he’s a genuine World Cup option for New Zealand with another assist for the Blues in Super Rugby.
The Blues centre made a clean break against the Highlanders on Saturday before making a well-timed pass to flanker Tom Robinson who scored the first points of the game.
Nonu has won two World Cups with the All Blacks, accumulating 104 caps in the process and despite the fact he’s now 36-year-old, he’s been in fine form recently for the Aukland franchise since his return to Super Rugby from Toulon.
The Highlanders beat the Blues 24-12 in Dunedin leaving them one point behind the Chiefs at the bottom of the New Zealand conference after nine rounds, with the Blues now third.
