Mat Luamanu has made yet another huge tackle in the Aviva Premiership, this time taking out Worcester Warriors flyhalf Tom Heathcote. Referee Craig Maxwell-Keys was right there to make a call, and he determined that there was ‘an attempt to grasp’, so waved play on.
He obviously felt that Luamanu’s timing was okay too, as he was committed to making the tackle, and could be heard telling his TMO that he was happy with it, even if it may have been marginal.
