Former Leinster head coach Michael Cheika joined Brian O’Driscoll, Shane Horgan and Martin Bayfield for a Champions of 2009 Gala Dinner recently, sharing some amusing anecdotes from his time in Ireland.

One such story was about how he used to join in at training, although Horgan insists that the current Wallabies coach simply picked and chose when to run with the team and when it was better to just give that impression.
Cheika also shared some words of wisdom, stating: “Success is genuinely built on doing the things you don’t want to do, and doing them as regularly as you can.”
