Denis Leamy, despite seeming pretty serious and all about the hard work on the field, must surely been one of those players who behind the scenes, is actually somewhat of a character and has quite a sense of humour. I dont know much about him personally, so those who know more will be able to confirm whether thats true or not.
One thing that can be confirmed though is the absurdity of whats shown in this short funny clip from last weekends test match between Australia & Ireland.
Leamy took it upon himself to find a whole new way of distracting the opposition scrumhalf, which, on this occasion, meant tapping Luke Burgess on the head when he was about to pass the ball out from the bottom of the ruck.
We saw Leamy trying something new with his
bunny hopping madness
at the back of the scrum in the past, but this is new tactic, a funny tactic, and one that I bet kids around the world will be haunting referees with after seeing this clip.
