Speaking ahead of the early access version of the game which was released back in June, the makers of the game said:
“First and foremost, we sincerely apologise to you for the significant delay you have endured in anticipation of this new Rugby game. We’ve spent considerable time signing more than 150 rugby licensing deals and also travelling the world to scan players whenever they could be made available. This delay has caused us to now focus on the 2024 and 2025 seasons, hence we have decided to appropriately rename Rugby 24 to Rugby 25.”
In the 8 months since, early access players have been helping to provide feedback to developers to ensure the final project meets the standards expected of such an eagerly awaited title.
The verdict on the final release is currently out, but there’s no doubt many will be quick to voice their opinions.
