New crowned URC champions Munster Rugby have been doing the rounds on social media recently as they rightly celebrate a first trophy in 12 years.
Having done so the hard way by going on the road for the full knock-out series, Munster showed an incredible spirit to overturn an impressive Stormers side in the final.
Clearly there was some bite in the clash between the two sides given they had met just weeks earlier in a clash where Munster brought an end to a 19 game unbeaten home streak for the Cape Townians.
The pressure was then ratcheted up a level when a video emerged of the Stormers celebrating Munster’s victory over Leinster in the semi-finals.
One particular moment in that video stood out when Stormers and Springbok hooker Joseph Dweba shouted into the camera saying they were going f*** up Munster.
Unable to turn over Munster who have now won all three clashes between the two sides over the past two seasons, the Stormers will be leaking their wounds and will be out for revenge next season.
Adding fuel to the fire for John Dobson’s side will be a new song which the Munster players have been enjoying recently at the expense of Stormer’s flyhalf Manie Libbok.
The exception number ten started the final in immense fashion as he intercepted a wayward pass from Munster centre Antoine Frisch to race away for the opening score.
Celebrating heavily, Libbok was joined by teammate Herschel Jantjies in getting stuck into the Munster players during the try celebration.
Fast forward 70 minutes and Libbok had a chance to clear the Stormers line only to be charged down by Munster number eight Gavin Coombes.
Now calling the act Le Block in reference to Libbok, the Munster players are not letting the Stormers forget the perceived disrespect in the build up to and during the game.
Hopefully the sound works on this version?!#leblock https://t.co/nvxYCITgOa pic.twitter.com/rWIH3RY9mC
