United Rugby Champions Munster Rugby are set to continue their tradition of welcoming touring sides to the province in 2024.
Having famously defeated the All Blacks, South Africa and the Wallabies, the famous Irish provincial side will now tackle Super Rugby giants the Crusaders.
Munster vs The All Blacks – Haka And Tries
Securing a seventh consecutive Super Rugby title over the past weekend, the Crusaders will arrive in Limerick looking to lay down a marker against the northern hemisphere powerhouse.
Leading the visitors will be former Munster coach Rob Penney who takes over from incoming All Blacks head coach Scott ‘Razor’ Robertson.
For Munster, the club has enjoyed a remarkable renaissance under new head coach Graham Rowntree.
Defeating Glasgow, Leinster and the Stormers away from home in a sublime run to the title, Munster firmly confirmed they are back as a force.
Following several trudged years under South African coach Johann van Graan, Munster played a flowing yet clinical game throughout the past season.
Most positively for the men in red was their continued growth throughout the season. Whilst the Crusaders are renowned for their silky smooth yet brutally effective style of play.
Thus, the match-up between the two sides has all of the makings of an all-time classic fixture.
