France were put to the sword by a commanding All Blacks performance that blew them away in Cardiff. The 62-13 victory included 9 outstanding tries, and well and truly avenged the famous loss of 2007 at the same venue.
Julian Savea scored a hat-trick, with a few runs that were perhaps the closest he’s ever come to emulating the unstoppable might of Jonah Lomu at his best.
As good as New Zealand were though, France were poor, slipping tackles and never really fronting up physically. A yellow card to their most impressive forward didn’t help matters.
The All Blacks will face the Springboks in the Semi Final next weekend. More to follow.
