The 2023/24 Gallagher Premiership has not been one to remember for the Newcastle Falcons to date.
Currently rooted to the bottom of the table with 12 losses from 12 matches, the Falcons’ financial restraints have been well publicised.
Despite the challenges facing the club, the players, coaches, and club staff are unquestionably committed to making the club as successful and sustainable as possible.
Whilst there can be no doubt that the Falcon’s squad depth is markedly lower than their Premiership foes, they do have a sprinkling of high-quality talent.
One such player is England international Adam Radwan, the two times-capped winger possesses electric footwork, lightening quick speed and exceptional finishing abilities.
Turning out for the Falcons again this weekend as they faced the top-of-the-table Northampton Saints, Radwan and his teammates scored a textbook wide attack try midway through the first half that showed their full attacking potential.
Whilst it was Radwan who finished the try, his back three teammate Elliott Obatoyinbo was the instigator as he flicked out one of the best offloads you’ll see this season.
The 25-year-old Obatoyinbo is a former England U18 and U20 representative and looks to have found home with the Falcon over the past two seasons.
