Investec Champions Cup pool 3 toppers Northampton Saints have come out swinging in their round three clash with French side Bayonne.
Stretching their visitors from side to side early on, the Saints crossed for a scintillating try inside the match’s first minute.
Exposing their visitors down the left-hand touchline, captain George Furbank put in a clever pass to an on-running Rory Hutchinson.
The centre then deftly kicked the ball back in-field for winger Tommy Freeman to pounce.

Four minutes later, the Saints would get over for their second try but would be called back with scrumhalf Alex Mitchell having been adjudged to have knocked the ball on.
