Otago winger makes assist with MASSIVE miss pass

Otago winger Vilimoni Koroi made a huge pass in the dying moments of a Ranfurly Shield game against Cantebury to set up Jona Nareki for a try.

Koroi received the ball in midfield from the back of a driving maul and threw a 20-metre looping pass to his teammate who scored a late try to reduce the deficit to 10 points with five minutes left on the clock.

But Koroi’s skills weren’t enough to complete the comeback and Canterbury went on to win the game 25-35. Full match highlights are available below:
