Former Saracens and England skipper Owen Farrell caused quite the stir last season when it was announced he would be departing the Premiership club for the Top 14.
Linking up with former England coach Stuart Lancaster at Parisian side Racing 92, Farrell has had a mixed start to life in the French capital.
Currently sitting in 8th position with five wins and six losses in the Top 14, Racing have underwhelmed thus far this season.
In the Investec Champions Cup, things have been equally mixed, with a strong round one victory over Harlequins being followed by a heavy defeat against the Sale Sharks.
Farrell has yet to play in the Champions Cup this season due to injury and, more crucially, has not played at the incredible La Defence arena.
Instead, Racing have played their home games at the Stade Dominique Duvauchelle, which, to be frank, is not in the same realm as La Defence.
From the outside, this tricky start has led to plenty of speculation as to whether Farrell would remain in Paris.
Less than a season has passed since Springbok skipper Siya Kolisi left Racing in strange circumstances. Could the former England skipper do the same?
Adding a further link to this speculation was today’s image of Farrell with Kolisi’s new boss, Marco Masotti, who owns the majority stake in URC side Hollywoodbets Sharks as well as being a stakeholder in Saracens.

Probably nothing, but could the former England skipper be heading home sooner than initially planned? #InvestecChampionsCup pic.twitter.com/UVIiNGxkYV

Whilst this could certainly mean very little with Farrell being their to support his old team, it was an interesting moment which will no doubt add to the speculation around his future.
