Former England captain Owen Farrell’s Paris adventure has begun in earnest less than two weeks before the season kicks off.
Shocking the rugby world by announcing his defection from his long-term club Saracens and English Rugby in pursuit of a new challenge in the Top 14, Farrell was due to link up with double World Cup-winning captain Siya Kolisi.
This combination now looks unlikely to ever come to fruition, with RugbyPass reporting that Kolisi will depart the Parisian club after just one season and return home to URC side the Hollywoodbets Sharks.
Whilst Kolisi’s departure will no doubt come as a disappointment to the Racing squad, Farrell’s addition brings key leadership to the ultra talented squad.
Getting stuck immediately, Farrell was spotted bonding hilariously with the racing players.
Jumping on a public bike, the 32-year-old test centurion was dressed a power ranger as he roamed the streets of Paris!
Just spotted Owen Farrell cycling through Paris dressed as a Power Ranger. Racing team bonding seems to be going well.

Beginning his Racing 92 career away from home as his team takes on Castres in round one, Farrell will compete with fellow Englishman Dan Lancaster and utility back Antoine Gibert for the starting flyhalf role.
