At halftime in an Air New Zealand Cup match recently this young guy contributed to setting up a funny moment that we felt was simply too good to not share. So while this clip is really short, it has to be seen.
If you’re going to streak at a rugby match, the rule of thumb is to stand behind the advertising boards, whip off your clothes, then sprint out onto the field in the knowledge that if you hesitate, you’re more than likely going to get nailed by security.
As well as keeping that in mind, it’s pretty lame if you get on there for your moment of fame and do a half job. Prancing around in a non-manly manner, half-clothed isn’t advisable either.
The best part of it, for the spectator, is when the unsuspecting ‘streaker’ gets surprised by an overly enthusiastic security officer who’s probably been waiting for that opportunity since he first got the job.
The funniest part about this is that the crunching hit was probably not the only punishment. In most places, streakers or pitch invaders will get taken off to a jail cell for a night, and possibly face a large fine.
