During Australia’s Rugby Championship game against Argentina, Cooper was lifted off the field by medical staff after falling to the ground without contact.
Prior to his injury, the Australian fly half was the only player who threatened to break open the cagey encounter.
However during an attack in the first five minutes of the second half, Cooper attempted one of his infamous goose steps and it seemed to cause some damage.
Cooper immediately fell to the ground clutching his heel, and started yelling and rolling – clearly in agony.
The injury seemed to occur in the calf / ankle area. Which is worrying due to the fact he missed the entire England series with a calf injury.
The whole rugby community will hope the injury is not too serious as we can all agree that the sport with Quade Cooper in it, is far more entertaining than without.
Quade Cooper goes down grabbing that same calf that took him out of the England series 😣 Hope for a speedy recovery ⚡ pic.twitter.com/HOWHAQ5Bin
