One of the most iconic moments of Ireland legend Brian O’Driscoll’s international career came during the quarter-final of the 2003 World Cup against France.

The dynamic outside centre made a heroic covering tackle on his opposite number Tony Marsh in the first half and got straight back to his feet to win a penalty for Ireland.
Not only was it a brilliant display of tackling technique from O’Driscoll, but the Leinster icon showed great intelligence to get back to his feet and fight for possession, which we won for his side.
O’Driscoll made 133 appearances for Ireland over a 15-year period making him one of the greatest centres to ever play the game.
