Jonny May scored an incredible try against Australia on Saturday as England recored a 40-16 win over the Wallabies in Oita, Japan.

England centre Henry Slade made an interception from a David Pocock pass on the Wallaby 22-metre line and charged down field before delivering a perfectly weighted grubber kick for May to chase.

The Leicester winger out-paced Australia’s defence to touch the ball down in the corner and this was his second try of the game – his first coming just three minutes earlier.

This win means England have progressed to their first World Cup semi-final since 2007. Full match highlights are available below:
