Fans and players have jumped to social media in reaction to Argentina’s incredible 25-15 win against the All Blacks in Sydney on Saturday.
It is the first time in history that Los Pumas have beaten New Zealand and the emotional reaction from fans and players has simply been amazing.
Fly half Nicolás Sánchez scored every single point for Argentina with an incredible seven penalty kicks and a converted try for the 32-year-old.
Remarkably this is Argentina’s first game of 2020 and New Zealand have now lost back-to-back games for the first time in nine years after going down against the Wallabies last weekend. Full match highlights as well as the incredible reaction to the game are available below:

Argentina, who hadn’t played in 13 months, rock up and beat the All Blacks for the first time in their history. New Zealand suffer consecutive defeats for the first time in nine years. Haven’t lost three in a row since ‘93/94 and play Argentina again next. pic.twitter.com/rG8gjkpI2m

Pumas skipper Pablo Matera warned about getting involved in a bit of push-and-shove:

Remember. Sth Africa pulled out of this comp because they were under done.
We should all appreciate what Argentina have achieved. Incredible. #NZLvARG— Mark Stafford (@stafnz) November 14, 2020

That is one of the greatest performances I’ve ever seen by a side playing the All Blacks. Absolutely exceptional from Argentina. #NZLvARG

Argentina’s performance today makes a mockery of the Springboks not wanting to travel for the The Rugby Championship because they haven’t played since the world cup. #NZLvARG

I was disappointed and didn’t agree on the Springboks not participating in TRC.
I have changed my tone after seeing the injuries and quality of SR Unlocked. Boks wouldn’t have been ready for test rugby.
Hats off to Los Pumas for an incredible win but leave the Boks out of it.

International law is clear on this, if you win then you own the place. #NZLvARG pic.twitter.com/vttvwdZDkw

#NZLvARG We Aussie Rugby fans have been on many occasions critical of Michael Cheika but I am happy for him today, he has gone and helped Argentina and his good Mate Mario Ledesma plot a win against the All Blacks. Well done Mate.
