Louis Rees-Zammit was back in Chiefs colours on Thursday evening, displaying an impressive skill set in his second NFL season warm-up match.
The Welshman performed in the third and fourth quarter at Arrowhead Stadium, as Kansas City Chiefs fell short to the Chicago Bears in their final pre-season match.

The former rugby winger was impressive in his outing, averaging over 5 yards a carry and making 36-yard returns from kickoff, as he looked to provide an important attacking tool in the Chiefs arsenal.
Having only joined the sport a matter of months ago, Rees-Zammit has had a steep learning curve but the signs look positive. Although many supporters expect him to miss out on the final 53-man squad for the season, he is widely expected to be retained for the practice squad.
The wider Chiefs fanbase was less impressed with the overall squad’s performance, however, with one person complaining:
“Absolutely disgraceful, this team should tear down and rebuild from scratch. Send Mahomes to the Panthers for two 7th round picks, let Kelce retire, and fire Reid. We need REAL leadership on this team for the upcoming generation”
