Bath fans have no doubt been through the wringer over the last few years, watching their club fall further and further down the table with each passing year. This season, however, it’s been only the gate prices that have kept their supporters down, as the performances on the pitch have been nothing but superb.
The arrival of Ollie Lawrence last season from Worcester Warriors has proved to be a masterstroke. The England international has combined well with the likes of Cameron Redpath, Max Ojomoh, and the other Bath youngsters in what has become a truly exciting backline.
This season it’s been Finn Russell that has put the x-factor into the squad after arriving from Racing 92. Next year it could be current Racing 92 player Henry Arundell heading to Bath from the French capital according to the Telegraph Rugby. A source close to the newspaper has suggested that the England winger has received a hybrid contract offer from Bath Rugby and the RFU that trumps the offer by Racing 92 to stay in the light blue and white strip.
Arundell is not the only expected arrival at Farleigh House next season, with RG Synman also expected to rekindle his work with Bath head coach Van Graan, having worked under him at Munster previously.
