Back in 2019, Rishi Sunak made an appearance at Wensleydale Rugby Union Football Club as the club officially opened its new clubhouse and changing room facilities. Well, he’s back, and this time seemingly getting well involved in the playing side.
Since becoming the MP for the area in 2015, Rishi Sunak has been a keen supporter of the club and has frequently visited to witness their progress. He has previously stated that it had been inspiring to observe the club’s development over time. When appearing at the club in 2019, Sunak said:
“It has been a pleasure and privilege to be invited to play a part in the club’s celebrations. The commitment of all involved to make this happen has been admirable.”
