So we’re heading into another weekend of rugby which includes, amongst other great goings on, Round 4 of Super Rugby down south. Here’s a look at a crowd favourite, as the Rugby Club in Aus brings us the Plays of the Week.
Probably the biggest talking point of the week was that moment of madness after the Bulls vs Blues match, where a fan came onto the field and tossed a water bottle at Keven Mealamu’s head.
“We’ve had this sort of thing in New Zealand as well… I still love the place (South Africa). The incident caught me by surprise, that’s all,” said Mealamu when speaking about it earlier this week.
The game itself was actually a good one, as were many others on the weekend, with some great tries scored. We get to some of the best in this week’s Plays as Sean Maloney, who actually made his full commentary debut, talks us through the best and worst of the round.
There’s also some big hits, including that Motu Matu’u monster tackle on Matt Hodgson that was featured here a few days back, and one or two other belters that are worth checking out too.
On a side note, the best way for you to let us know you enjoy something on here is by leaving a quick comment to say so. Last week this feature didn’t get too much of a response, so this week if you can, please take a minute to leave one.
If you’re not registered to post already, you can do so here now, or you can just leave a guest comment, but remember, with guest comments you need to validate via email each time.
