Learn more about the Russian Bears ahead of their all important Rugby World Cup 2015 Pool A qualifying match against Zimbabwe this coming weekend, in the town of Krasnoyarsk in Siberia. The winner gets a spot in the two-leg Repechage final for a place at the showpiece event next year.
Saturday’s match will be the first ever meeting between the two sides, and will be refereed by Welshman Nigel Owens. The winner will face either Uruguay or Hong Kong, and the winner of that will qualify for Pool A in next year’s tournament, alongside Australia, England, Wales and Fiji.
Russia vs Zimbabwe will be live streamed on the IRB website here. Kickoff is at 19:00 local time, 11:00am GMT. Uruguay vs Hong Kong takes place at 15:45 in Montevideo, 18:45 GMT.
