The Scottish Rugby Union has secured two test matches against Japan including one in November 2020 following the recent conclusion of the Rugby World Cup.
Japan beat Scotland 28-21 in the final group stage match of the World Cup, a game which was nearly called off due to the severity of typhoon Hagibis in October.

As well as losing the game and being knocked out of the tournament, comments made by SRU chief executive Mark Dodson (pictured) about the potential cancellation of the fixture are still being assessed by an independent disputes committee.
