Week four of the Six Nations contained all the usual hype and drama that has become an integral part of the Championship, but on field there was less to cheer about as all three games failed to live up to the same standards we saw at the opening weekend.
Rather than clog up the homepage with separate posts for each match, we’ve archived the highlights and linked to them below, allowing you to pick and choose what you’d like to catch up on.
Scotland vs Wales – Highlights
Wales weren’t looking great coming into the tournament but have fought back to now have a very good chance of defending their Six Nations title. They beat Scotland at Murrayfield, but will need to call on all their experience when hosting England for the title decider next weekend. |
Ireland vs France – Highlights
In a dour game that wasn’t helped by poor weather, France came from behind to snatch a draw and give themselves a chance of avoiding the wooden spoon, should they beat Scotland next weekend. The pressure on both Ireland and France coaches has intensified following this one. |
England vs Italy – Highlights
Italy scored the only try of the game but it was England that held on for a crucial victory, keeping their Grand Slam ambitions on track. They travel to Cardiff next weekend for what will be a fascinating decider between two teams that will both expect to have a few players selected for Lions duty soon. |
