Siya Kolisi has given young fans a day to remember when visiting Wynberg Boys’ High School in Cape Town recently.
Always known for his larger-than-life personality and incredible compassion, the Springbok legend arrived at one of the most prestigious rugby schools in the country to join in with their well-renowned festivities.
Sharing the footage on his own social media, Kolisi found himself fully involved in a Wynberg Boys’ war cry. Holding a stick emblazoned with the school colours, he sang, danced and bounced to the vibrant beat alongside the enthusiastic students.

“There is no place I would rather be than her in this nation of SA. This is what makes us different”, one person said online afterwards.
Another noted Siya’s commitment to the youth of the country, adding: “I love how Siya is spending ‘leave’. No rest for this passionate and deeply caring leader of ours.”

Finally, Cindy Willoughby, a mother of one of the school children thanked Kolisi on Instagram, saying: “It was all my boy could talk about when he came home from school today. Thank you for being the role model our boys need.”
