A commanding victory from the All Blacks has left the New Zealand faithful with a much sweeter taste in their mouth this week. After losing out in their first ever home loss to Argentina last week, the All Blacks dominated in a 53-3 victory in Hamilton earlier today.
After the game, it’s customary for coaches to congratulate each other on a well-fought victory, one that would have taken the very best in man management to turn the tide around.
One such coach that deserves plenty of plaudits after that display should be Joe Schmidt, the All Blacks attacking coach. With 53 points on the board, the attack was firing on all cylinders.
Despite this, Schmidt appeared to have been snubbed in the coach’s box by forwards coach, Jason Ryan who completely avoided his handshake in comical scenes.
Joe Schmidt needs one more week for full acceptance it seems. #NZLvARG pic.twitter.com/IyWBwwkupO

Fans appear to be convinced this was intentional:
Schmidt has achieved about ten times what Ryan has in his coaching career. Probably should show the guy that’s come in to save their jobs some respect

That was deliberate. It’s that sort of arrogance that’s made the coaching staff “successful”

Not a Schmidt fan, clearly
