This morning most of the rugby world, currently based in France, woke up to the news that Eddie Jones has reportedly agreed on a deal to join Japan as their new head coach.
Well in an attempt to dampen the fire, the Wallabies PR team has released a video voiced by captain Will Skelton urging fans to stick by their young side. Appearing only to have doused the fire in kerosene, the exclusion of Eddie Jones from the video has only added to the speculation.

Fans were less than pleased with the attempted smoothing over of Australia’s first ever group stage exit, with one fan saying:
“Please just come clean on what went on behind the scenes so we can plan forward and move on. Thanks”
Whilst another pointed to where the real problems were:
“Sack the board. The players from grassroots up deserve so much better than this.”
Others pointed out the expected departure of Jones, saying:
“Seems like Jones is moving on, leaving Australia in a massive hole”
Reports came out this morning from Japanese website Sponichi, which claimed: “Current Australian national team coach Eddie Jones is expected to return as the successor to Joseph,”
“This spring, Masato Tsuchida, president of the Japan Association, with whom he has had a honeymoon relationship since his days at Suntory, contacted him.
“Contract negotiations have been held privately behind the scenes, and preparations are underway for (his) return (for the first time) since the 2015 World Cup, which led them to a historic three wins.”
