Scotland play France this weekend in the Six Nations so here’s a quick look at two interesting videos from some of their players, one showing good kicking form, and the other how to dominate a lineout.
Following the retirement of flyhalf Dan Parks, Scotland now have a few options going forward in terms of selection. At the moment Greg Laidlaw, Ruaridh Jackson, and Duncan Weir are the men who will carry their country forward at number ten.
In the first of two videos, Weir teaches multi-talented second rower Richie Gray how to slot place-kicks like a pro. The results are pretty impressive, as are most elements of Gray’s play.
The 6ft10 lock has already shown that at a young age, he has what it takes to become a Scotland legend, and probably one of the best in world rugby in his position.
In the second video here we see locking counterpart Al Kellock giving center Graeme Morrison and scrumhald Chris Cusiter the runaround at lineout time when it comes to lifting, jumping, and throwing in. There’s good banter amongst the players, and you’ll probably pick up some handy tips along the way.
