DHL Stormers and Springbok loose forward Evan Roos has been one of the United Rugby Championship’s break through players over the past two seasons.
The 6’3” and 110kg former Paarl Boys High School player is an imposing figure with a strong carrying game and big hitting defensive game.
At just 23-years-old, the number eight has already taken on the moniker as enforcer for the Stormers.
Yet, in a rather hilarious turn of events he will not be thanking the Stormers medical staff for eating away at his fearsome reputation.
Getting caught with a cut on his head during the Stormers URC quarterfinal win over the Vodacom Bulls. Roos was bandaged up and continued to play on, however the bandage job left a lot to be desired….
Looking like a combination of a dunce cap and a swimming cap, Roos was rocking quite the look. Quickly dispatching of the taping, Roos got back into action realising his teammates and opposition were clearly enjoying the set up a bit too much!
🤣🤣🤣 Evan Roos looking like he is wearing a swirlcose. #STOvBUL
