Sharks and Springbok Scrumhalf Grant Williams is fast becoming one of the brightest prospects in South African Rugby.
The 26-year-old currently has one international cap to his name but could be timing his run perfectly ahead of the World Cup.
A traditional nippy scrumhalf, Williams has been the perfect foil for a pacey and physical Sharks pack. Quick to the breakdown and with an incredibly accurate passing game, he has continually kept his side on the front foot throughout the season.
Whilst South Africa are currently blessed with an abundance of talent in the nine shirt, one area separates Williams from the rest.
Simply put, Williams is a pocket rocket and might just be the quickest player in South African Rugby.
Showcasing this pace for the Sharks in their crucial victory over play-off contenders Benetton, Williams had the Benetton defenders looking like they were running in sand.
As far as a dynamic option off the bench, Williams could prove to be a serious weapon for the Boks later this season.
