Springbok scrumhalf Jaden Hendrikse has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the past two seasons.
Having gone from being an SA U20 star to a Springbok in just two short seasons, Hendrikse is now pushing incumber Faf de Klerk heavily for the role of first choice Bok scrumhalf.
A silky-smooth operator who is known more for his sublime box kicking skills, Hendrikse has the ability to produce moments of magic.
One such moment was on display today as his Sharks side closed out a hard fought 39 – 31 win over English Premiership side Harlequins in Durban to win their first ever Champions Cup fixture.
Hendrikse was central to this success as he played an incredibly clean game.
In a moment of magic that will go down as one of the plays of the season, the scrumhalf set up Bok teammate Makazole Mapimpi with a world class offload.
