Springbok enforcer Eben Etzebeth is world-renowned for his no-nonsense approach to the game.
One of the most physically gifted of all time, Etzebeth could well go down as the greatest Springbok in history when it is all said and done.
Already 113 caps deep into his international career, the 31-year-old is performing at about as high a level as at any point in his career.
Based on his recent form and ability to stay relatively injury-free, there is a very real possibility that the 6’8” powerhouse could well make it to the 2027 Rugby World Cup.
Whilst that will be the furthest thing from his mind just days away from the Boks first match of their World Cup title defence in France. Etzebeth will be looking to join an exclusive list of two-time World Cup winners come the end of October in Paris.
On the field, there is no doubt about Etzebeth’s ability to perform at the highest level, and not it would appear he is equally adept off it.

Etzebeth has continued his run in front of the camera, this time in a brilliant advert promoting energy drink company Switch.
In the advert, Etzebeth is seen reading from a book labelled “Etzebeth Time Story”.
It must be said, the advert is really well done, and as ever, it is great to see a player showing their skills away from the pitch.
