Argentina have dismantled Fiji in a thrilling match which saw the structure of the Pumas come out on top over the flair of Fiji. This was the 9th-place playoff in this year’s u20s World Cup – a tournament that has given us plenty of excitement.

It was the game management of the Argentinian number ten, Valentino Dicapua, that made the crucial difference between the two sides, however, as he was able to orchestrate the Pumas attack to find gaps in a Fijian defence that was left wanting.

Despite the defence being exploited by an organised Argentinian side, their attack was as strong and as exciting as you would imagine from a Fiji side.

Despite a late Argentina red card, the match finished 22-43 in Argentina’s favour. 65 points were scored in total, in one of the most exciting games of the tournament so far.
