Former Scotland captain Stuart Hogg has been linked with a move to Top 14 outfit Montpellier less than a year after retiring from professional rugby.
Departing professional rugby three months earlier than anticipated based on reported physical issues that he felt would not allow him to put his best foot forward at the Rugby World Cup.

At the time, Hogg was still contracted to Gallagher Premiership outfit the Exeter Chiefs but has since moved into the commentary both with TNT Sports. Since his retirement, Hogg has had several well-reported off-the-field incidents.
Despite having previously ruled out a return to rugby, Hogg now looks set to join a Montpellier side who will be fighting relegation later this month.
