Ireland centre Stuart McCloskey is currently busying himself with the small matter of an upcoming two test series against World Champions South Africa.
A key member of Andy Farrell’s squads over the past few years, the bruising centre will be relishing the upcoming challenge that the Springboks will pose.
Despite all of the upcoming challenges, McCloskey still had time to take a funny pop at Ulster teammate John Cooney on X.
Retweeting his teammate’s video that showed All Blacks star Ardie Savea turning out for his local club ahead of the upcoming All Blacks test series against England.
Stating that he would love to have the opportunity to play local club rugby in Ireland and joked that he would attack and not defend.
Same as always then ?? 👀 https://t.co/WEI86AZZaj

Sharp as ever, McCloskey was not going to let this comment slide.
Renowned as a silky smooth operator in attack and a world class goal kicker, Cooney’s defence is not a strength that is often highlighted.
Instead McCloskey claimed that nothing would change for the scrumhalf as he doesn’t defend anyway!
