Round 10 of the Super 14 was jam-packed with great tries, starting with the superb performance from the Stormers against the Chiefs where we saw
the
Habana try that should be up for Try of the Season. Let’s take a look at the other great moments now though as we bring you our regular Super 14 Pick of the Week.
Getting this video down to only five minutes was quite a challenge as there were a handful of matches that produced tries that alone could take up that amount of time. The Stormers try that you saw here on RD earlier in the week has been included again, as well as their other great scores from Duane Vermeulen, hooker Tiaan Liebenberg, and big wing Sireli Naqelevuki.
From the Crusaders match against the Cheetahs, we’ve got the Kahn Fotuali’i try where he glided for 50m virtually untouched before diving over to score. For the Blues, All Black prop Tony Woodcock scored one of the tries of the weekend as he received a pass from fellow front rower John Afoa to score against the Force.
The Lions continue to lose, but still managed to challenge the Sharks and in fact scored a few very good tries. Carlos Spencer played at fullback and had one of his better matches so far this season. He was involved in the build up for their nicely finished Derick Minnie try.
For the Hurricanes Conrad Smith showed his guile as he popped up at just the right time to score a nice try against the Brumbies after some excellent handling amongst the backs.
One of the biggest stories of the weekend though was the Reds beating the Bulls in Brisbane, so included in this compilation are the great tries from ace finisher Scott Higginbotham and flyer Rod Davies. Or is it the other way around?
Enjoy this weeks Super 14 Pick of the Week and please share the link with friends, teamates, and anyone else who you think will enjoy seeing these great tries again, or for the first time.
