With just three rounds left to play, the positions at the top of the Super 14 table couldnt be tighter. Going into round 12 there are still a possible nine teams that can make the semis. Today were taking a look at the best tries from the previous round, round 11.
There was plenty of quality on show once again, so instead of listing them all, well keep this short and touch on whats going to happen in the upcoming round.
The Bulls are back at home, as they were against the Lions, and theyve received the boost of Bakkies Botha returning to action. Theyll play a crucial match against the Sharks this weekend, who will be hoping to upset their fellow 2007 finalists.
The second placed Stormers, who went down to the in form Reds, will host the Crusaders in Cape Town in what will be a massive match for both sides as it could determine who makes the semis, and where they will be played.
The Reds will take on the Brumbies in Canberra fresh from a good win over the Stormers. Will Chambers scored a well taken try from a great Quade Cooper crosskick in round 11, so theyll take confidence from that win and look to move the ball, as they have all season.
That covers the top sides, but theres also the hopefuls that still stand a chance, with the Waratahs taking on the Highlanders, the Hurricanes facing the Chiefs, the Blues against the Cheetahs, and the Lions hosting the Force.
But for now you can check out the best tries from the previous round with the always entertaining, Pick of the Week.
