The opening games of Friday’s round 17 Super Rugby matches were a far cry from a week ago, as today we saw far tighter matches, while there was still plenty of entertainment. Just two matches have been played so far, with many more to come.

BLUES vs WARATAHS
The Blues finished their season with back-to-back wins over Australian sides as they beat the Waratahs 34-28, all but ending the Aussies campaign.
REDS vs REBELS
The Melbourne Rebels finished their season with a high-scoring 31-28 victory over the Reds in Brisbane.
SHARKS vs SUNWOLVES
The Sharks secured their path into the Super Rugby last-eight at the expense of the Bulls after seeing off the Sunwolves 40-29 in Durban.
CRUSADERS vs HURRICANES
The Hurricanes put on an dominating display in Christchurch to defeat the Crusaders 35-10, moving to the top of the NZ conference table in the process, with Chiefs versus Highlanders to come.
HIGHLANDERS vs CHIEFS
The Highlanders put on a thrilling display of running rugby to defeat the Chiefs 25-15 at Forsyth Barr Stadium and leapfrog them to finish second on NZ Super Rugby conference table
BRUMBIES vs FORCE
The Brumbies ran in four tries during their 24-10 win over the Force at GIO Stadium in Canberra to finish top of the Australian Conference.
STORMERS vs SOUTHERN KINGS
Stormers duo Huw Jones and Leolin Zas scored seven tries between them to secure their team a 52-24 victory over the Kings, as Stormers secure top spot in South Africa 1
CHEETAHS vs BULLS
The Bulls ended their Super Rugby season with a 43-17 bonus-point win over the Cheetahs at Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein
JAGUARES vs LIONS
The Lions missed the chance to finish as top seed and book a home path to a possible Super Rugby final after they lost 34-22 to the Jaguares at Vélez Sarsfield.
