Wales centre Jonathan ‘The Fox’ Davies showed brilliant intuition to set up Steffan Evans for what should have been a wonder try for the Scarlets in Sunday’s Pro 14 clash.
The 32-year-old was struggling to regather a loose ball late on in the game when he showed great awareness and skill to kick the ball off the ground to his teammate Leigh Halfpenny.
The veteran full back then found Evans on the left wing, who put in a fantastic fend on Glasgow’s Tommy Seymour and powered towards the try line.
Unfortunately he wasn’t able to dot the ball down in the corner but the combination of Davies’ kick and the hand off from Evans almost resulted in an awesome try for the visitors.
SO CLOSE from @steffevs09… but not close enough 😬
