Antoine Dupont may not be starring in the Six Nations this year, but his star is certainly still shining in the Top 14. Playing for Toulouse in their impressive home victory over Bayonne at the weekend, Dupont displayed another trademark performance.
Playing in the less familiar position of fly-half, Dupont controlled the Toulouse attack as well as if it were under the control of Romaine Ntamack or Thomas Ramos, with two of his sides’ tries coming off the back of some simply mesmeric skills from the 26-year-old. Dupont is known in part for his impressive offloads, and this performance was full of them.
His first assist was a behind-the-back flick to Pita Ahki. Simply insane:

In the closing minutes, Dupont orchestrated a wonderful attacking play that led to a crossfield kick pinpointed into the arms of Juan Cruz Mallia of the wing.

Is Antoine Dupont already the greatest player of all time?
