A fantastic and brutal new montage of England star Manu Tuilagi has emerged on YouTube which will surprise even the hardcore rugby fans.
The four-minute video is filled with some of Tuilagi’s biggest tackles, carries and explosive hand offs which have made him one of the game’s most dangerous players over the past decade.
The 30-year-old weighs in at 110kg and has 43 England caps to his name as well as a Test match appearance for the British & Irish Lions in 2013.
The Tuilagi brothers are one of the most formidable set of siblings in rugby history with six of them playing at international level for both Samoa and England, but Manu remains the most high rated.
After recovering from a serious achilles injury in September 2020 Tuilagi was recalled to the England set up ahead of a series against Canada and the USA earlier this summer but sustained a minor hamstring strain.
England head coach Eddie Jones remains positive that the big ball-carrying centre will bounce back and return to his best ahead of the new season.
Shortly after the injury back in June, Jones said: “He’s been outstanding, so it’s just a small, little setback. And it will allow him to have a really good pre-season and we expect him back next year in very good condition. So it’s very positive, very positive.”
Tuilagi made his England debut in 2011 and over the years has put in some iconic performances at Twickenham, most notably his dominant display against the All Blacks in 2012.
At just 21-years-old he bulldozed his way through Dan Carter, Richie McCaw and Aaron Smith to set up a classic try in white and also bagged himself an intercept try and a further assist in what was a complete performance in front of 80,000 fans.
