Here’s a quick Throwback Thursday clip from Instagram, taking a look at this fun bit of skill from Wallaby Drew Mitchell back in 2013 when playing for the Waratahs vs the British & Irish Lions.
Mitchell came close to equaling Jonah Lomu and Bryan Habana’s overall Rugby World Cup tryscoring record recently, ending one behind on 14 tries. He also set up a great try in the semi final against Argentina, showing that he was fully deserving of being called back from Toulon.
As you can see here, the man has always had a ton of skill, and while mastering the particular talent displayed here probably won’t get you too far in rugby, Mitchell’s ability to adapt and be a natural ballplayer has ensured his longetivity in the international game.
