The dates have been announced by Premiership Rugby for the start and the end of the season, with the full fixture list set to be revealed on the 18th of July.
With the World Cup just a matter of months away it’s easy to forget the club competitions that give us so much joy throughout the year. But to forget such a thing can lead us to miss some vital moments and skills displayed by the players of tomorrow that have not boarded the plane to France for this year’s World Cup.
Starting on the 13th of October, the Premiership season will coincide with the quarter-finals of the World Cup, giving us a weekend full of rugby to choose from. Whilst there will be many players missing due to international commitments, there will be a plethora of young and experienced players ready to dazzle in club colours, as they aim to stamp down their shirts in the absence of the international superstars.
The Premiership final is due to take place at Twickenham on the 8th of June 2024.
