France were too good for Fiji last weekend but the visitors did score an excellent consolation try, as flyer Timoci Nagusa went the length of the field for what was effectively a 100m team try. He beat debutant former South African’s Scott Spedding and Rory Kockott on the way to the tryline.
It was a great way to end the Marseille meeting between the two sides, as French based winger Nagusa gave the Fijian fans, and indeed the neutrals, something to cheer about.
Despite this great effort, France won the game 40-15 in the Stade Velodrome.
