Oyonnax Rugby player, Loic Godener, had a very unfortunate issue with his mouthguard this weekend that led to a pretty unexpected turn of events in his post-match interview.
Suggested to have taken a knock to the mouth during his match against Toulouse, Godener was seen to remove his mouthguard with much difficulty following the occasion, bringing along with him…a tooth.

Sporting a brand new gap in his pearly whites, the back row player sadly came off on the losing side in a high-scoring contest that saw the former European Champions come away 61-34 victors.
It was a match that also saw Antoine Dupont’s replacement, Paul Graou, step up and score four of his side’s tries.
