Reigning Top 14 and Investec Champions Cup winners Toulouse are reportedly chasing the signature of Lions tighthead prop Asenathi Ntlabakanye.
Per reports in the French media, Toulouse are keen to bring the 146kg powerhouse onboard ahead of next season to join their signing of La Rochelle and France prop George-Henri Colombe.
Referencing this rumoured move during the Lions top of the table URC clash with Leinster, respected analyst Bernard Jackman stated that the French club had made an offer of around €35,000 per month.
One complication that has emerged is that Ntlabakanye, who many have tipped to push toward Springbok honours in the coming years, remains under contract with the Lions until 2026 and is not available for immediate release.
Should this be something that cannot be overcome then the per a report in Midi Olympique, the Top 14 giants will look at alternative options.
