Round four of the BKT United Rugby Championship is nearly upon us and what a round of rugby we have in store!
Set to break it’s attendance record as Leinster and Munster do battle in front of 80,000 fans at Croke Park, the league is certainly in a rude run of health at this moment in time.
Away from the glitz and glamour at the home of the GAA, the other seven fixtures in the league look enticing in their own ways.
Getting things underway on Friday evening will be reigning champions the Glasgow Warriors who host Italian side Zebre who pulled off the biggest shock in league history when they downed Munster in round two. Since then the Italians shuddered back to earth with a comprehensive loss at the hands of the DHL Stormers in round three.
For the Warriors, this match represents another opportunity to add to their outrageous points scored tally having netted more than 90 points in rounds two and three.
Elsewhere, Ulster host Connacht in the second Irish derby of the weekend whilst all four South African sides hit the road.
Ahead of the action we decided to delve into the stats to offer a snapshot of who has been the top performers through the opening three weeks.
